David Beckham to be a Sous Chef'' joked Ramsey in SE1

Gordon Ramsay is working on the opening of yet another new restaurant in London with all the great food in the area it will not be long before you are checking out the London Bridge gyms to remove those access pounds. Allegedly it is to be called Union Street Cafe, and will be on two floors and will be have a Mediterranean style. News of the world said that he is paying £235.000 for a 35 year lease. Apparently it is going to be affordable with the average meal costing £25.00/£30.00 a head.

When you diver in deeper there is to be a focus on seasons ingredients, including a focus on Italian artisan producers. Also with Gordon being a lover of the great ingredients in borough market in se1 London Bridge, he will be putting these to great use. These great ingredients will be put to use with a ever changing daily menu. Meal options could include Veal, Carpaccio with lemon, anchoy, olive and celery.

When you look at the design it will be by Russel Sage, he was the guy he did the Ramsays Bread Street Kitchen. Rumours are that there will be a separate bar for snacks too and if also new innovative cocktails. With more great food and great drinks in the area, it is more important to get in the gym and burn off those treats.
